Could you add valgrind output? I was never able to reproduce and I believe it is useful to keep some information about fixed issues.

Massif is showing a time series output as n increases so you can see the both from the graph and from the data that the memory usage is increasing indefinitely.

You can probably reproduce this with large numbers of threads on old FFmpeg.

@cehoyos: sorry I missed your messages. Yes, there was no leak, it was just using abnormally high amounts of memory for the given resolution. For a res of 300x30000, it should 25MB/frame, but it used 1GB per frame. There was no leak.
